One thing that we have noticed recently is that publishers are increasingly putting out omnibus editions. We have had for some time the first three titles of Philip Kerr’s Bernie Gunther series, packaged as Berlin Noir, and the first ten titles in Cynthia Harrod-Eagles‘ ‘Bill Slider’ series , which are available in four volumes. This fall the first three titles in Alan Bradley’s ‘Flavia de Luce’ series are appearing as The Buckshaw Chronicles. The third, fourth and fifth titles in Emily Brightwell’s ‘Mrs. Jeffries’ series are now available in one volume called Mrs. Jeffries Takes a Second Look.  In April 2013, the seventh, eighth and ninth titles will appear as Mrs. Jeffries Takes Tea at Three. These omnibus editions seem to us to be a good way to reprint earlier books in popular and extensive
